3 Day Camp July 5 - 7
Will run concurrent with 5 day camp. 

10.5 hours on ice instruction, 11 hours off ice instruction and video review
Objectives:
- The Primary focus will be on technical development of straightaways and corners.
- Skaters will also be given an introduction to track patterns and passing.

5 Day Camp Schedule July 5 - 9 



14 hours on ice instruction, 18 hours off ice instruction and video review
Objectives:
- The Primary focus will be on and off ice training methods for the technical development of straights, corners and starts.
- Athletes will also be given an introduction to various Track Patterns (offensive, defensive) Strategy, Tactics, and Passing.
The 5 Day camp will cover the newest Ellis Edge method of technique for the straightaway, corner and starts, including how to apply maximum pressure in each push, forward momentum weight transfer, timing, and efficiency of position and movement.
Skaters will learn the various track patterns, including offensive and defensive track patterns, pass set up and execution, and an introduction to various strategyand tactics and racing skills.
Off ice instruction will teach skaters the proper method of executing skating imitations and jumps, Techni-Cord Training, flexibility, agility, and speed of movement drills, as well as games.
Video analysis and feedback will allow each participant gain a more thorough understanding of the application of technique, tactical skills, and self assessment tools.

Our simple rules of RESPECT:

Respect your coaches, chaperones and volunteers. 

Respect other peoples property and space. Ask before entering.

Respect the building and the people who work hard to make it the best for you. Cause no damage and clean up after yourself if you make a mess. If you accidentally break something let us know so we can get it fixed. 

No boys in girls rooms and no girls in boys rooms. You may meet in the floor lobby or in the rec room.

Do NOT jump the fence to get to the Thompson Center. We like your ankles in one piece!

You may not leave the building without permission from a coach or chaperone.

The complaint department will be closed from July 5 through July 9. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!

Oh, and dress warm cause it's cold on the ice.
